Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with clinical procedures
- Administer medications and injections per physician protocols
- Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and point-of-care testing
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Sterilize equipment and maintain exam room supplies
- Coordinate patient education and discharge planning
- Assist with inventory management and supply ordering
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience
- Current Washington Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- BLS/CPR certification from AHA or Red Cross
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Washington State driver's license if required for travel
