Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations, including vital sign measurement and history documentation
- Assist physicians during clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Perform basic lab tests and specimen processing
- Manage patient records using Epic EMR system
- Administer medications and immunizations under provider supervision
- Coordinate patient flow and maintain examination rooms
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care
- BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency with electronic health records (Epic preferred)
- Excellent patient communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
- Strong attention to detail and HIPAA compliance knowledge
