As a Medical Assistant, you will be the face of our clinic, ensuring our patients feel welcomed and cared for while assisting our physicians in delivering top-tier healthcare services.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient intakes, including medical history reviews and vital signs measurements.
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during clinical procedures.
- Administer injections, immunizations, and perform basic lab work as directed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Provide patient education regarding medications, procedures, and wellness programs.
- Coordinate referrals and communicate effectively with insurance providers.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through the American Heart Association.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical office setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
