Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations, treatments, and minor procedures
- Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and specimen collection
- Manage patient flow, scheduling, and electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Prepare exam rooms, sterilize equipment, and maintain inventory of medical supplies
- Provide patient education on medications, procedures, and preventive care
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient experiences
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- No prior medical experience necessary – we provide comprehensive paid training!
- Certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) preferred but not required; sponsorship available
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with EHR systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Compassionate demeanor with commitment to patient confidentiality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Valid CPR certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire)
