Responsibilities
- Administer medications, injections, and vaccinations under physician supervision
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist with minor procedures
- Electronic health record (EHR) management and documentation
- Perform vital sign checks and patient history assessments
- Coordinate telehealth consultations during remote workdays
- Manage inventory and order medical supplies
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Pennsylvania state certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care
- BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, or NextGen)
- Strong communication skills for hybrid patient interactions
- Ability to work independently during remote shifts
- Background check and drug screen clearance
