Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with clinical procedures
- Perform vital sign measurements, EKGs, and phlebotomy with precision
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) documentation and inventory control
- Schedule patient appointments and coordinate seamless care transitions
- Assist in patient education regarding treatment plans and preventive care
- Maintain sterile examination environments and infection control protocols
- Collaborate with nursing and specialist teams for integrated patient care
Qualifications
- Graduate from accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent certification
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in hospital or ambulatory setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification and MA license (MA state)
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environments
- Strong attention to detail in documentation and patient safety protocols
