Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures while maintaining strict confidentiality standards
- Perform vital signs measurements and accurate clinical documentation in EHR systems
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and diagnostic testing
- Manage inventory control for medical supplies and equipment
- Coordinate patient education materials and discharge planning
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA and HIPAA compliance protocols
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting
- Proficiency in Epic or similar electronic health record systems
- BLS certification with current CPR credentials
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Exceptional communication skills and cultural competency
