Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs measurement, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Administer injections and medications as per physician orders
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain exam rooms
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience
- Current CPR certification and BLS certification
- PA state Medical Assistant certification (or eligible)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in hospital/urgent care setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
