Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including patient vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and medication administration
- Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment per infection control protocols
- Coordinate patient flow and manage appointment scheduling
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Order and maintain medical supplies inventory
Qualifications
- Current Arizona Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a hospital or urgent care setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or Cerner preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
