Responsibilities
- Prepare and Assist: Prepare patients for examinations, assist physicians during visits, and ensure patient comfort.
- Clinical Duties: Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic lab procedures including phlebotomy.
- Record Management: Accurately maintain and update patient medical records in our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Operational Support: Coordinate patient scheduling, manage prescriptions, and handle front-desk duties as needed.
- Infection Control: Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to strict hygiene protocols.
- Patient Communication: Educate patients on treatment plans and provide exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) certification.
- Licensure: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Experience: Proven experience in a clinical setting or internship in healthcare.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) software.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
