Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures.
- Perform routine vital signs, EKGs, and basic lab tests (phlebotomy).
- Manage patient check-in, insurance verification, and check-out processes.
- Maintain clean and organized examination rooms and medical equipment.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed providers.
- Document patient interactions and medical history accurately in EHR systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-volume medical environment.
- Professional demeanor and reliability.
- High school diploma or GED required.
