Responsibilities
- Conduct patient intakes, including medical history reviews and vital sign measurements.
- Assist providers during examinations, procedures, and minor office surgeries.
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean clinical environment.
- Perform basic lab tests, EKGs, and phlebotomy duties as directed.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Administer medications and injections under strict physician supervision.
- Provide patient education and ensure a positive, welcoming experience.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification is required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certifications.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
