Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals (blood pressure, temperature, weight) and document accurately.
- Assist physicians and nursing staff with patient examinations and procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms with necessary medical equipment and supplies.
- Manage patient scheduling, check-in, and insurance verification.
- Administer injections and perform basic lab tests (phlebotomy).
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Strong computer skills and experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume clinic setting.
- High school diploma or GED required.
