Responsibilities

  • Perform patient intake, vitals monitoring, and medical history assessments with high accuracy.
  • Assist physicians and advanced practice providers during examinations and procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring strict adherence to sterilization and infection control protocols.
  • Collect and process laboratory specimens, including blood draws and point-of-care testing.
  • Manage front-desk operations, including appointment scheduling, patient registration, and insurance verification.
  • Assist with medical billing coding (ICD-10/CPT) and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Provide patient education and post-procedure instructions to ensure compliance and wellness.

Qualifications

  • Current CMA (AAMA), RMA (AMT), or MA (NCMA) certification required.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through the American Heart Association.
