Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals, and medical histories accurately.
- Assist physicians and providers with examinations and procedures.
- Perform venipuncture (phlebotomy) and EKGs as required.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and maintain patient charts.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment.
- Coordinate patient appointments and handle incoming inquiries.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Strong proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical setting.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
