Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient intake, including vitals, medical history, and symptom assessment.
- Assist physicians and nurses with examinations and minor procedures in a fast-paced environment.
- Prepare and administer medications and injections as directed by licensed providers.
- Manage Electronic Health Records (EHR) accurately and maintain strict patient confidentiality.
- Coordinate patient follow-up appointments and specialist referrals seamlessly.
- Provide patient education on preventative care and treatment plans to ensure compliance.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certifications must be current and valid.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a hospital or clinic setting preferred.
- Proficient in navigating Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a high degree of patient empathy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
- Must have a stable high-speed internet connection for remote positions.
