Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals measurement, and medical history documentation.
- Assist physicians and advanced practice providers during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean clinic environment.
- Administer medications, injections, and vaccines according to established protocols.
- Coordinate patient follow-up appointments and manage lab results.
- Handle front desk duties including scheduling and insurance verification when needed.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or similar certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and electronic health records (EHR).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
