Responsibilities
- Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, ECGs, injections, and phlebotomy
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and minor procedures
- Manage patient records using EHR systems (Epic experience preferred)
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical instruments
- Schedule appointments and handle patient correspondence
- Administer medications under physician supervision
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
- Maintain HIPAA compliance at all times
Qualifications
- Accredited Medical Assistant certification (AAMA or AMT)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Proficiency in EHR systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Minnesota MA license (or eligible)
- Attention to detail and organizational excellence
