Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations, including vital sign measurements and medical history documentation
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and maintain examination rooms
- Perform diagnostic tests (EKG, phlebotomy, injections) per protocols
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems with precision
- Schedule appointments and handle patient communications
- Inventory management of medical supplies and equipment
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA/NCMA)
- 1+ years of clinical experience in a fast-paced setting
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic/NextGen preferred)
- Strong phlebotomy and venipuncture skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
- Kansas state certification required
