Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations, including vital sign checks and medical history documentation
- Assist physicians during clinical procedures and minor surgeries
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Coordinate patient education materials and appointment scheduling
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Current California MA certification or CMA/RMA credential
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in cardiology or specialty practice
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification from AHA
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Spanish bilingual proficiency strongly preferred
