Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare patients for exams and administer injections/medications
- Perform vital signs and basic diagnostic tests
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Schedule appointments and handle patient communications
- Ensure exam rooms are stocked and sanitized
- Coordinate referrals and lab services
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in high-volume settings
- Virginia state license in good standing
