Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and vital sign monitoring
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and diagnostic tests
- Administer medications and immunizations per protocol
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Manage inventory and supply chain for clinical areas
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for integrated care delivery
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Medical Assisting or equivalent certification
- Current California MA certification (CMA/RMA) required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in hospital/urgent care setting
- BLS/CPR certification with ACLS preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility to cover rotating weekend and holiday shifts
