Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient intake assessments and vital sign monitoring
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and examinations
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Prepare and maintain sterile examination rooms and equipment
- Manage electronic health records with precision and confidentiality
- Coordinate patient flow and optimize weekend clinic efficiency
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Accredited Medical Assistant program graduate or equivalent certification
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong phlebotomy and EKG skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced weekend environments
