Responsibilities

  • Perform patient vitals, physical examinations, and screenings to ensure accurate health records.
  • Assist providers with clinical procedures, including injections, minor surgeries, and wound care.
  • Manage patient flow efficiently, including check-in, check-out, and room preparation.
  • Update and maintain Electronic Health Records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families, answering inquiries and addressing concerns.
  • Prepare laboratory specimens and coordinate with external labs for timely processing.
  • Administer medications and perform point-of-care testing as directed by the provider.

Qualifications

  • Current CMA or RMA certification from an accredited institution.
  • CPR/BLS Certification (American Heart Association) required.
  • Experience working in a clinical setting preferred, with a focus on weekend availability.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and HIPAA compliance regulations.
