Responsibilities
- Provide clinical support during weekend shifts including vital sign monitoring and patient preparation
- Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures in our Columbus clinic
- Manage patient records via our HIPAA-compliant EHR system with remote access
- Coordinate telehealth appointments for follow-up care and patient education
- Perform lab tests and specimen processing with on-site oversight
- Ensure clinic readiness and maintain sterile environments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless patient care delivery
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA/MA) from accredited program
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems with remote access capabilities
- Ohio state license in good standing
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Exceptional communication skills for telehealth interactions
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Flexibility to adapt to hybrid work environment (on-site + remote)
