Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy with precision
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Administer medications and injections per physician protocol
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Coordinate laboratory tests and referrals efficiently
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/NextGen preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced weekend shifts
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
- Associate's degree or Medical Assistant diploma
