Responsibilities
- Conduct patient intake and accurately measure vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse).
- Assist providers during examinations, procedures, and minor office surgeries.
- Prepare patients for lab tests, administer injections, and perform basic point-of-care testing.
- Manage patient records, update electronic health records (EHR), and ensure strict HIPAA compliance.
- Coordinate follow-up care and communicate effectively with patients regarding prescriptions and next steps.
- Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment and restock supplies as needed.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating or fixed schedule.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a medical setting preferred.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with EHR systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
