Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Measure vital signs and document patient histories accurately
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Perform basic lab tests and specimen collection
- Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and sterilize equipment
- Coordinate patient scheduling and handle administrative tasks
- Ensure HIPAA compliance for all patient records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Accredited Medical Assistant certification preferred
- 1+ years clinical experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Basic EHR/EMR proficiency (Epic experience a plus)
- Ability to work flexible weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
