Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Accurately record patient histories, vitals, and medical information
- Perform clinical tasks including EKGs, phlebotomy, and medication administration
- Manage patient flow, scheduling, and appointment coordination
- Maintain sterile environments and inventory of medical supplies
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficient in EHR systems (Epic or Meditech preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask effectively in high-pressure situations
- Spanish bilingual preferred
