Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision
- Prepare and administer medications under provider supervision
- Schedule patient appointments and coordinate care coordination
- Maintain sterile exam environments and inventory control
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Graduate from accredited Medical Assistant program
- Active CPR/BLS certification
- Pennsylvania Medical Assistant certification (or eligible)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/EMR)
- Strong patient communication skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced settings
- Background check and drug screen required
