Responsibilities
- Perform routine patient vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) and measurements.
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Prepare and administer injections, medications, and vaccines as directed.
- Manage and maintain Electronic Health Records (EHR) with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Coordinate patient appointments, referrals, and follow-up care.
- Greet patients and ensure a positive, welcoming clinical experience.
- Maintain examination rooms and medical equipment in a clean, sanitized condition.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or equivalent certification preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
