Responsibilities
- Perform accurate patient vitals, including blood pressure, weight, and temperature measurements.
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during examinations and procedures.
- Greet patients, manage check-in/check-out processes, and ensure privacy and comfort.
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and maintain inventory of supplies.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by authorized personnel.
- Manage patient records and verify insurance information accurately.
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
