Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians during procedures.
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) accurately and confidentially.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and specimen collection.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile environment.
- Greet patients and update patient information in the system.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a clinical or medical office setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
