Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Perform patient vitals (blood pressure, temperature, weight) and prepare patients for examinations.
- Clinical Support: Assist providers with procedures and ensure exam rooms are sanitized and fully stocked.
- Admin Duties: Manage patient records accurately, including updating electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with patients and visitors to ensure a positive experience.
- Medication: Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed providers.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Certification: Certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) preferred.
- Licensure: Current BLS/ACLS certification required.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting.
