Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake and vitals collection with accuracy and professionalism.
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort.
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and manage inventory.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed providers.
- Collect and process laboratory specimens and assist with diagnostic testing.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records using EHR systems.
- Provide patient education and answer questions regarding treatments and medications.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Certification (CMA, RMA, NCMA) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- San Francisco residency or willingness to commute is required.
