Responsibilities
- Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and medication administration
- Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and patient education
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and documentation
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure smooth clinic operations
- Prepare exam rooms, sterilize equipment, and manage inventory
- Support telehealth initiatives and virtual patient interactions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA, RMA, or CA certified)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proven weekend shift availability (Sat/Sun required)
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/NextGen preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification with current renewal
- Strong communication skills with diverse populations
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing protocols
- Flexibility to cover weekday shifts as needed
