Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including patient vitals, injections, and ECG procedures
- Assist providers with examinations and minor surgical procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems and patient documentation
- Prepare exam rooms and medical supplies for patient visits
- Handle patient scheduling and insurance verification
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medications
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Current CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) certification
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a medical practice
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume setting
- High school diploma or equivalent required
