Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and nurses with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare patients for visits, take vital signs, and document medical histories
- Perform basic laboratory tests and phlebotomy services
- Manage patient records using electronic health record systems
- Sterilize equipment and maintain clean exam rooms
- Schedule appointments and handle basic administrative tasks
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- No prior medical experience necessary – we provide full training!
- Completion of accredited Medical Assistant program preferred but not required
- CPR certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn medical software
