Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during medical procedures
- Administer injections, vaccinations, and perform ECGs
- Document patient encounters in EHR systems (Epic experience preferred)
- Manage inventory and sterilization of medical equipment
- Coordinate patient flow and maintain clinic efficiency
- Assist with billing coding and insurance verification
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Active California Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in urgent care or primary care
- BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency in EHR systems and medical terminology
- Strong communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments with multitasking
- Phlebotomy and venipuncture experience
- Spanish bilingual preferred
