- Apply coding guidelines (ICD-10, CPT) for proper reimbursement
- Resolve billing discrepancies through payer/patient communication
- Ensure HIPAA compliance in all billing operations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a US healthcare setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Expert knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
- Proficiency with medical billing software (e.g., Epic, Medisoft)
- Strong understanding of insurance claim processes and regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to manage high-volume claims with 95% accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for resolving billing issues
