Responsibilities
- Process and submit clean claims to insurance companies with 95% accuracy
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits prior to service
- Resolve claim denials and appeals with timely follow-up
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and payer regulations
- Perform account receivables aging and collections activities
- Collaborate with clinical staff to document coding corrections
- Generate monthly revenue cycle reports for leadership
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a US healthcare setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC credential preferred
- Proficiency in Epic, NextGen, or similar EHR systems
- Expert knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding
- Strong analytical skills for claim resolution
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage high-volume work with competing deadlines
