MediCore Billing Services is urgently hiring a skilled Medical Biller to join our growing team in Boston, MA. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who excels in revenue cycle management and is passionate about ensuring accurate healthcare billing.
In this role, you will be the key player in ensuring our healthcare partners get reimbursed promptly and accurately. You will manage the full billing cycle, from claim submission to collections, while maintaining strict compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities
- Accurately verify and submit medical claims to various insurance payers (Commercial, Medicaid, Medicare).
- Review Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statements and initiate appeals for denied claims.
- Maintain accurate patient billing records and manage patient payment plans.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Stay updated on changes in healthcare coding guidelines (ICD-10, CPT) and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with the front office team to ensure complete patient registration data.
- Utilize billing software (Epic, AthenaHealth, or similar) to process transactions efficiently.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Biller or in a similar Revenue Cycle role.
- Proficient in ICD-10 and CPT coding standards.
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Billing Software.
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and privacy regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for patient interaction.
- High school diploma required; Associate’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred.
