Responsibilities
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits prior to services rendered.
- Accurately submit medical claims to commercial insurance payers and government programs (Medicare/Medicaid).
- Follow up on denied or unpaid claims and manage the appeals process.
- Review and resolve patient billing inquiries and account discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient financial records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA compliance and company data security policies.
Qualifications
