Responsibilities
- Accurately code and submit medical claims to insurance companies using provided equipment
- Review EOBs and resolve billing discrepancies through our integrated software systems
- Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance standards
- Utilize provided billing tools to track accounts receivable and aging reports
- Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and insurance payers
- Appeal denied claims and optimize reimbursement cycles
- Train on new equipment/software as part of continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 2+ years of medical billing experience with equipment-provided roles
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Proficiency with EHR/EMR systems and billing software (training provided)
- Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
- Exceptional attention to detail and data entry accuracy
- Ability to thrive in a tech-supported environment with provided tools
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
