Responsibilities
- Accurately code and submit medical claims using ICD-10/CPT/HCPCS systems
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for patient services
- Manage accounts receivable and resolve billing discrepancies
- Process EOBs and patient statements efficiently
- Comply with HIPAA regulations and billing compliance standards
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure documentation accuracy
- Generate monthly revenue cycle performance reports
Qualifications
- 3+ years medical billing experience with commercial/payer knowledge
- Certified Medical Biller (CMB) or CPC credentials preferred
- Expertise in Epic EHR or similar practice management systems
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office and billing software
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
