Responsibilities
- Process and submit medical claims to insurance carriers with 99% accuracy
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits before service delivery
- Resolve claim denials and appeals through strategic follow-up
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and payer regulations
- Analyze account receivables and identify revenue leakage patterns
- Collaborate with clinical teams to document billing-accurate services
- Generate monthly revenue cycle performance reports
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a US healthcare setting
- Certification in CPC, CPC-A, or CCS-P preferred
- Proficiency in Epic, eClinicalWorks, or similar EHR systems
- Expert knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
- Strong analytical skills for complex claim resolution
- Excellent communication for patient/provider interactions
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
