Responsibilities
- Manage patient intake, scheduling, and registration with precision and empathy
- Coordinate insurance verification and billing documentation
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Handle multi-line phone systems and triage patient inquiries
- Prepare and maintain medical charts and administrative files
- Assist with patient check-in/check-out procedures and appointment reminders
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year medical office or customer service experience
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and insurance protocols
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Professional demeanor with conflict resolution skills
- Spanish fluency a plus for diverse patient population
