Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, managing the front desk operations efficiently.
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays accurately using our EMR systems.
- Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments while minimizing no-shows.
- Answer incoming calls, route inquiries to the appropriate department, and take detailed messages.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and emails in a timely manner.
- Update and maintain accurate patient records and files in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with basic administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Healthcare Administration is a plus.
- Previous front desk or administrative experience is preferred but not required due to our paid training program.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and electronic health record software.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy medical environment.
- Must be detail-oriented and possess a valid driver’s license.
