Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and monitor vital signs and health status.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Document patient care plans, assessments, and progress accurately in electronic health records.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control and safety standards.
- Respond to emergency situations calmly and execute critical thinking skills.
- Assist with patient education and discharge planning.
Qualifications
- Current RN License issued by the California Board of Nursing.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred, ADN accepted for new grads).
- CPR/BLS Certification (ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
