Responsibilities
- Delight patients with compassionate personal care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Meticulously monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care activities
- Safely assist patients with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
- Collaborate seamlessly with RNs and healthcare teams to implement care plans
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and safety standards
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Accurately complete electronic health records and incident reports
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care or long-term experience preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license (if required for facility transport)
